This necklace is described as the perfect "party" punk necklace! My son isn't a punk or a party goer (chuckles) but he loves it and I'm happy about it. Sometimes he wants to wear a chain and he has some real 14K chains so I was surprised he really liked this one. The great thing about this necklace is that it looks gender neutral in my opinion - not only men can wear it, but girls too! When I told him it wasn't "real" gold but gilding, he didn't believe it. to me! As you can see from the photos it is very beautiful, in person it is even more pleasant! I find the two tones help achieve a more natural look as many areas of the gilding look too yellow and unnatural. Silver in the middle of the chain. This 18" 6mm two tone gold chain has a beautiful lobster clasp closure. I love them because they are safer, more durable and more beautiful. There is also a beautiful 18KT coated stamp.
