As a cat owner I love the idea of this cat food. This is a great value, high quality formula that I have been very happy with. Our vet suspects one of our cats has a chicken allergy, so I'm on the lookout for a quality, chicken-free food. I chose Canidae because my dog eats and loves it. I really liked that this formula had limited ingredients and no chicken. Unfortunately, none of my three cats like it. They didn't even eat it when they were hungry. Instead they just bothered me with incessant meowing in front of their (full) food bowls. I ended up donating the bag to a local animal welfare organization that can use cat and dog food in their wildlife program, as my cats refused to eat it for weeks when we tried to force it on them.
