Our 9 year old puts his feet in when he leaves (we have a small hobby farm) and kicks them out when he comes back. often wears fewer socks when he goes out to feed his horses) which is new to him as he really doesn't like being cold! Despite all the wear and tear, they still look new and are very easy to clean with a little soap on a washcloth. We had -9*F weather with gusts of 50mph, 2ft of snow plus frozen mud puddles on the ground. Not once did he step inside because he was cold. He is 9 years old and we cannot keep him in the house. We RECOMMEND these snowshoes! The blue is bright enough for girls too (we bought the blue camo) and we hope you find our review helpful!
