Soft and nice. Brown is a good color and fortunately not too sheer. Got this to go over sleeveless shirts as not always comfortable with sleeveless. I ordered a small and glad I did. I'm 40D 5'1 and it is perfect. Definitely do not have to go with your regular size unless you want it really big. There is plenty of room and drape in the small and being petite it is not overly long, which is good.
