Looks like a quality product (durability to be confirmed) and the 36" square fits my 29" square well (above). Installation wasn't difficult. One person complained that his metal bungee cord hooks were missing protective caps. All 8 of my hooks had caps. It wasn't clear to me (sometimes I can be a bit blunt) why there are two tarpaulins, Mesh and Solid. My understanding is that you should use both at the same time. First attach the net with bungee cords and then put a solid one on top and use the hooks already installed to hold it in addition to the net. I believe the idea is that if the hard part rests directly on the hard part of the air conditioner, condensation can get trapped between the two surfaces, which can cause problems. The mesh layer allows air to circulate better under the fixed layer, while the fixed layer protects against rain and snow, as well as leaves, branches, etc.
