We tried these cute tights in 3 sizes - 10/12, 14 and 16. All 3 sizes oversized the waist to varying degrees. For the record, we bought these for a petite teenager, small in stature, towards the end of girls size but still too small for most juniors. I think these tights will suit girls with a blockier build with almost equal hips and waists. We liked the quality and the colors on offer, but New Balance just doesn't fit.
