I used to have fluorescent lights under cupboards and really hated that you couldn't see them and the bulbs were impossible to find (and surprisingly expensive if you could ever find them!). Anyway, I was dying to switch to LED so I ordered this kit. I wanted to hardwire them into my existing wired setup, but I have a great deal of respect for electricity and when I looked at what it would take to do that, I changed my mind. The cables are so thin they're fairly easy to hide, and they give you tons of cable holders to attach and tuck out of the way. They came out beautifully and I like the blackout option. They're not very bright, but at the highest setting they're about as bright as my fluorescent lights. At their lowest level they are mostly decorative and create a nice warm look in my kitchen. I have a cream pewter apron (matches my pewter ceiling) and these warm light LEDs look very sharp.
