Reasonable hold, almost no shine and definitely volume
In almost 3 months of growth I tried several different 'balms' and 'oils' in search of the right combination of softening, hold and smell ( or lack of it). Prophet's Beard Balm seems to be one of them. I like that it's moderately oily/greasy - my palms are almost dry after rubbing it into my beard. Also, my beard isn't too shiny. The hold is perfect for me, not so much that my beard looks unnatural. It removes frizz and helps me look neat. The scent is too fruity for me. It's not a bad scent, but I would prefer something traditionally masculine, herbal, or earthy.
