Review on 🔦 Optimized Search: Westinghouse 3105500 Recessed Downlight Equivalent by Kent Page

This is the third recessed LED downlight manufacturer I've tried and at least initially it seems to be the best build quality but I guess we'll have to see how they hold up. The first manufacturer was originally installed by my home builder at the end of 2018. It is a well-known global LED lighting manufacturer. I have over 20 of these lights in my house and in 18 months 3 of them have failed, all within a few months. Trying to get a replacement was a nightmare because the seller refused to honor the warranty with no proof of purchase I had but it didn't meet their requirements. At some point I gave up and bought a set of 4 spare parts for these devices from another supplier. The parts I ordered came from a supplier that was one of the top results of the Revain search and was much cheaper. While they looked significantly cheaper, they at least worked well, but now, just over a year later, one has already failed. I have to say the seller fulfilled the warranty quickly and sent a free replacement and the other 3 are still working so we'll see how they do but not wanting to wait a whole week for a replacement I went for it Decided to order a replacement set for this main range and my search led me to this lantern. First impressions out of the box is that this flashlight is of much better quality than the other two. It has an all-metal body and allows for easy rotation of the light after installation, which is important for aligning square frame lights. The light is also slightly brighter than a cheaper replacement of the same energy class and produces a slightly less "red" cast in the light, which I prefer. Of course it remains to be seen how reliable this light is, but I hope so, at least based on the original build, and while slightly more expensive than the cheapest replacement, it looks better, is easier to install, puts out more light, and still is cheaper than the original bulbs I had. from a reputable provider. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they continue.
