Sturdy construction and affordable price; major issues with balance and phone holder

GOOD: The product generally works well as intended. So far there have been no complaints about the actual ability to securely hold my laptop and the angle options are good. The construction also seems to be quite solid. The mechanism for holding the laptop feels solid and I'm not worried that it will ever fall or slip off. THE BAD: My first issue is with the rotating base on the bottom of this product. Being able to spin it smoothly is a nice little extra feature, but it's something I didn't really care about. The problem, however, is that it doesn't make the stand sit flat on my desk. So if I press even a little on both sides, it wobbles back and forth extremely annoying. My other main complaint is the terrible placement of the phone holder. The phone appears quite far behind and below the laptop. If that wasn't enough, when I use the laptop's USB port on the left (like I always do with a USB mouse), the phone's screen is completely blocked. You can see this in my first image (the image shows a 14" HP Elitebook, but it also happens to my 15.6" Acer Aspire). CONCLUSION: The product generally serves its main purpose well. If you read this review and don't think you're worried about stability issues or phone mount placement, feel free to buy it. Based on my research, the price of this one compares well to others with similar durability. But in my case, I'd like to do a little more research (or spend a little more) because the issues I've listed are hard to ignore.
