Review on Smart speaker Yandex Station Mini without clock with Alice, red pomegranate, 10W by Stanislaw Golkowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A high-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

I made a point to focus on how sophisticated and not trendy the hue "red garnet" is. In contrast to Light Stations, different colored Stations Mini 2 are not distinguishable from one another from a technical standpoint. But this specific shade is as sophisticated as a fine vintage of red wine! Because of this, my decision was affected. The question "with or without a clock - I didn't even ask myself that one: the difference in cost is not that large, and the functionality of the clock is significantly more pleasant than the lack of it. There have been reports of people being dissatisfied with the level of the audio output. I am unable to check at this time; there is nothing. In general, a very valuable piece of equipment! And not just for youngsters (as some critics have suggested the Station Light is for), and not at the expense of an electric scooter like the larger Station 2 model. Superior to the previous iteration of the Station Mini. The new version of the Station Mini 2 (which is better with a clock!) is designed for individuals who are looking for a more serious device, but do not wish to spend their entire monthly salary on one.

Pros
  • Amazing station, complete with the voice assistant Alice. The model that includes a clock is superior since it displays the current status of the gadget in a manner that is easier to understand. Even a neighboring whisper is audible to Alice through the Station Mini 2's four microphones, which are in great working order. The panel house neighbors are able to listen to it since the volume on the Station is set to 99 (the number 100 is just not shown on the display), which makes it possible for them to do so. Display. In recent updates of the software for the Station, Alice will be able to comply with the user's request to turn it off. And to decrease (or not decrease, depending on the settings) - automatically in accordance with the brightness (I witnessed it myself!). Quality of sound: Your own sound comes out on top. Superior to the Mini that was included in the earlier edition. More intense and deeper. In addition, the Station of this iteration has the ability to modify itself according to its surroundings. One sound picture will be placed up against the wall, and the other will be placed in the centre of the room. Feelings of pleasure are left on the body, and the texture of the skin is described as pleasant and slightly velvety to the touch. mics only have a single physical button that toggles between on and off. The other three are related to the senses. The sensor was impressed by the adaptability. You can scroll with a simple movement of your fingertips from [+] to [-] if Alice in the audiobook does not understand in her voice that you wish to listen to the previous chapter of the audiobook again. You can regulate the conversation from the top panel of the Station Mini 2 if you are too lazy to speak or if there is a particular time when it is inappropriate. Equipment. Only what is absolutely necessary: Station, Power adapter, quick start guide, luxury packaging that matches the color of the gadget and contains pockets for instructions and supporting papers within. Included in the package is a delightful extra in the form of a sticker sheet with the Station Mini 2, Music, and Alice themes. The adapter cord is rather lengthy, fairly thick, and is equipped with clips that prevent it from twisting. Support: ates are released in a timely manner and frequently provide additional capabilities, as Alice notes periodically in the "Also now I can." prompts. ates are typically installed in the wee hours of the night. I saw that Hong Kong time was advanced by nearly three hours. After it has been restarted (if that is required), the Station will pick up where it left off playing from the point at which it was restarted.
Cons
  • The first and most visible thing for me as an IT administrator is that the Station does not have the capacity to be configured, restarted, or turned off through the Web interface, similar to a router (or using an application on any PC, as is done with MikroTik). This is a major drawback. Not just on mobile devices like phones and tablets. Second: it is time to construct the "House with Alice" application for Windows as well as it has been a while since it has been updated. And then in order to get my mother into the infrastructure, I had to start by stealing a smartphone from her! Or you could have a conversation with Alice using your voice. The third reason (for me, for the same, first, irrelevant reason, because practically all of the devices that I have function this way) is the power source. The Station Mini 2 demands more power, which is why the adapter for it is its own. It is stronger, but it has its own circular plug. Those who have tried out the first generation Mini with the Type-C port do not like it. The locals provide a straightforward explanation, asking questions such as "well, how will the adapter burn out, and where can I get it?"
