You are at a point in your life where you care about pillowcases, accept them and move on. You're a little concerned that the ones you buy at the discount store are made from recycled plastic bags from a toxic waste recycling plant. So you chose it because of the words "organic" and "natural" in the product description. I'm not a supply chain analyst, so I can't speak about the origin of the flows. Therefore, it will be very difficult to obtain any scientific proof that this (or any other) product is the claimed product. I can say they appear to be of very high quality and significantly more durable than the standard fabric you may have purchased in the past. with these interesting wide stripes on it. Some have complained of pilling, which is covering the fabric with those pesky little bumps that make it look and feel bad. Or in the case of a pillowcase, unless you wake up looking like a golf ball every morning, it makes it almost useless. After several months of washing I could not find any pilling. I use a front loading washing machine, so maybe old school top loading machines help with peeling? Traditionally, front-loading washing machines have less impact on clothes, so this is just a theory. The first thing I noticed about them was how much thicker they were than the store bought pillowcases I had. I've had them for 4 months now, I liked them so much I bought a second pair. All are holding up very well. They appear to be very dense threads due to the smoothness (called "hand" in the industry). As an added bonus, each set of two pillowcases comes in a cute white linen drawstring pouch with the company logo on it. Nice touch for a boring product.
