These are the perfect little mats for beading and sequin work - any hobby, really, where everything you're working with can roll off the countertop. They resemble felt, but are larger and softer. , and have a thicker surface. This makes them deeper and fluffier than even higher quality felts - closer to fleece in fact. However, they are flexible so when you are done you can take them off your work surface, fold them in half and toss the unused beads back into the container. I work on more than one project, but personally I use one at a time, and three should last me forever.
