Edit 2/15/20: I ordered a replacement bulb thinking I had just received a defective one and the new one only lasted a week. I've been using it normally with no crashes or anything and I'm back in my room with the fade option disabled and the white light randomly flickering. I asked for a refund because now I know it's just a lamp. Unfortunately I preferred to use it. The lamp worked as expected, the touch function was fine and all colors were as advertised. Even the remote worked as it should. However, after turning it on and leaving the room, I was reverted to a white light flickering uncontrollably, and nothing worked, neither the touchscreen nor the remote. I turned it off and on again and the flickering continued. It paused for a while and I was able to change colors, but then I pressed and it went white and flickering again. The lamp has been great for the last 4 days and I was able to use it when I didn't want everyone to glow or want to read. However, now I'm disappointed that he took up acting so suddenly and so quickly.
