Bought it for my 15 year old daughter and was skeptical. I used to pay a lot for teeth whitening. She pushed me to whiten my teeth for a while so I figured it might be worth a try. After the first application I noticed a noticeable improvement. I think the light helps activate the connection. The trays that come with the kit are a bit tricky - be sure to follow the letter's instructions. If you leave the tray longer than recommended, it will curl up and become unusable. We came close to the bottom tray being left too long. It's serviceable but not the best fit. Be sure to wipe off any excess gel that may get on the gums - it will burn the exposed tissue! Overall, I would 100% recommend this product. I'm digging up my old mouthguard so I can apply the gel myself!
