Review on 🐠 Enhanced MarineLand LED Aquarium Light Hood with Day & Night Lighting by Tracie Price

I love this lid. It's well made and looks great. The LED lighting is awesome. The day function emits bright light, while the night setting provides a soothing blue backlight. I remember reading somewhere that it was meant to simulate moonlight. The only thing I would like to change about this lid is maybe add a small hinged door to access the tank without having to open the whole lid. Currently, when feeding fish or accessing the aquarium, the lid only opens with a hinge at the back, meaning the entire assembly opens up and takes the light with it. It's a little awkward when you need that light to see what you're doing. But you can deal with that. The lid also attaches securely to the back of the tank with two sturdy clips. Once the clips are in place on the back of the tank, the cowl snaps onto these clips creating a SECURE hinge opening. The benefit of this is that any condensate in the hood will drip back into the tank when opened for service, unlike other lids where you have to physically remove the hood and place it somewhere out of the way, it ends up dripping everywhere out if you don't have a towel handy. Overall a great product that I would buy again (and I did, now I have 2 on different tanks). =o)
