Love Tough1 blankets for my big horse. We have a lot of minis but we've never had one that needed a blanket for the winter. If you have a Mini, you know what I'm talking about. In winter they look like woolly mammoths. However, we have just added a 6 year old to our herd. Before we bought him, the old owners shaved him to reveal his pink skin. Not quite sure why. He's done a good job of growing the hair on his back, but he still doesn't have the hair like the other Minis, and with temperatures suddenly falling into the single digits in northern Ohio, it was obvious he needed something more needed help. . We ordered this on a Wednesday and with my main delivery it appeared on Friday at 8am. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this mini rug weighed the same as my full size horse rug. Too often people skimp on miniature horses. It has nice heavy duty buckles on the front, a thick waist belt and then elasticated leg straps. He was incredibly happy to have his blanket put on about 20 minutes after receiving it. I have no doubt it will last as long as the 84 inch blanket I use on my QH. 10/10, I will definitely buy again.
