Review on Carhartt Reversible Double Stitching Nickelbuckle Men's Accessories better for Belts by Ricky Snyder

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Carhartt quality continues to decline

I have had several Carhartt scratch free belts over the years and until now they have always been considered quality, comfortable and durable. To my disappointment, although the latest version of this strap was worn regularly for a couple of years with no problems, this new strap fell apart in less than a week of my purchase. After wearing the belt for a few days, the loop that was too tight for the belt and was held together with two weak paper clips (!) came loose. The old version had a strong piece of stamped metal holding the hinge together and this change seems like a cheap cost-cutting measure. I would not recommend this belt until Carhartt sells it again with a better loop.

Pros
  • Buckle closure
Cons
  • Vulgarity
