I'm in my 50's, in great shape and one of my friends does facials, scrubs and needles. However, it is expensive. So I had 10 professional scrubs. Do the peeling for a week, after a week of needling, 3 weeks off, repeat 6 times, and then maintain only once every 2-3 months. AMAZING RESULTS! Removed from the face of 15 years! So I figured to save money (I was a beautician myself a few years ago) I'd give this a try. Read the reviews they were great! I received this product yesterday 7/21/17 and couldn't be happier! Washed with mild detergent, rinsed, applied alcohol to sterile gauze, rinsed again, dried. Have prepared water with baking soda on hand (it deactivates/neutralizes the peel, I don't think you need to buy a deactivator but that's personal)) wiped lips and nose lines with Aukafor, applied this gel with a sterile gauze swab. (They said the fan brush might apply too much product and/or bleed!) I turned on a small fan by the bed just in case, reviews said it didn't burn well but not on me. and let stand for 6-8 minutes. I have also applied to the arm, chest, neck and abdomen. I had great results! I love this lactic acid scrub. However, I feel like I could leave it on for at least 10-15 minutes but I'm used to scrubs so be careful and follow directions! No peeling on the first day but my pores are almost invisible! The skin is soft and supple, the neck and chest look great! Next time I will go longer but I get the needle after 6 days so as not to overdo it. NOTE: And women who used a scrub before using this scrub. WHY? You don't have to exfoliate before a heavy exfoliation as they do the same thing and rid your face of dead skin. Aside from just irritating your skin, DO NOT USE AN EXCLUSIVE SCRUB the same week you exfoliate! This causes microcracks and the shell forms scabs. NO NO! BTW, my best friend is asking $125 for the exact same thing I just did! What can I add, she has been using amazing post peel products for 20 years. She deserves the amount, but for the house. YAHU! And I can do the chest, neck, arms and stomach! Good product!
