I really like these leggings and prefer to wear them with an ear loop mask rather than a fabric panel. They're comfortable, adjustable, and stay in place while moving or speaking. I appreciated the convenience of not having to wear face masks all the time and the ability to wear a neck pouch over the mask if needed. walking my dogs. They keep me warm without the added bulk of a scarf around my neck. The only downside in my experience so far has been the poor implementation of the air filters. It's hard to attest to the performance of the filters themselves, but the internal pocket that's designed to hold the filters doesn't do the job. There is no good way to keep the filter from sticking or moving. Even if it stayed in place I don't think the filter would offer any significant functionality in any way as it doesn't fit snugly around the mouth or nose. At best, it can serve as a minimal barrier, potentially preventing the wearer's cough or sneeze from propagating directly through the gaiter fabric.
