I would say that it is more resistant to wrinkles. Other than those minor issues, my stepson LOVES this duvet cover! He's a big space nerd and thinks it's so cool! It's as soft as you would expect from a microfiber case. Might get a little hot underneath if your kids are as sweaty as mine lol. We're remodeling his entire room and this is definitely one of his favorite new things!
