I ended up not keeping this suit, I'm 40 years old and although I thought it looked pretty cool it might not be for me. I wanted something for ski and cross country skiing and it was too heavy. I can't comment on its warmth and water resistance, but the materials seem to be of good quality, I think they fit really well. I'm 6ft 3" and ordered XL, I've tried other XL one piece snowsuits and they felt very baggy and loose especially around the torso, this one fits much better, I would probably still use a belt, but wouldn't it be so necessary.
