I really liked these sets when I received them and set the table with them. These are beautiful accent pieces that add texture to the overall look, but the exterior wood is not sealed or clear coated so it will flake and bits of wood will fall off plates and napkins. I told them when I filled out the return form that I would buy them again if they sealed them. Until then, I don't want any wood shavings on my dishes, napkin, or anywhere near the table.
