feature rich + good performance + quiet + low price = WIN!

This model is a good choice for those of us who cut our own hair. The small body diameter and relatively low weight ensure excellent control. I have suffered from tinnitus for many years and am very sensitive to noise. These clippers tend to be very quiet even at the top speed of 6500rpm and naturally run quieter at lower speeds. I don't need ear tips with this model when working close to my ears like I have done with previous clippers (rotating and magnetic). from a closed door, most likely wouldn't have heard him, even if there was dead silence on their side. However, sometimes the blade can become clogged with hair and it can become louder and buzz/rattle, especially when the trimming length control (slide switch) is set to the shortest setting and when the comb attachment is in use. Tapping the unit with the blades down with the palm of your hand or otherwise knocking hair down will quiet it down again. If it doesn't get louder with age/wear and tear like many clippers do, then I really am a happy camper. My device comes with an additional 18mm comb, a total of 9 attachments instead of the 8 listed in the product description, manual and packaging. The kit also includes: charger, charging station, scissors, comb, cleaning brush, oil bottle, storage bag and paper manual. One of the attachments is a thinning comb. None of my previous kits included this so I was intrigued, especially since I have thick/fluffy hair. In my particular case it didn't have much of an effect, certainly nothing on the level of my thinning scissors. This is an interesting addition to the kit and perhaps more valuable to other people. To do justice to the doubts, I will say that maybe I just used it wrong. The easy-to-remove cutter head makes cleaning easy, and the body feels sufficiently sealed around the motor to keep the vast majority of debris from entering the machine. body of unity. The most likely engagement points in the head area are around the plastic fingers that adjust the knife with the cutting length adjuster. The battery works great, at least when it's new. It took a couple of weeks after fully charging it before cutting my hair and when I opened the box the charge was still at 100%. So far, so good. Total runtime of the clipper during my long self-clipping session was around 35 minutes with numerous on/off cycles (no issues with the on/off buttons or speed selection so far). I mostly used 5800rpm and when I was done I had 86% left - enough for 6 more haircuts! This model has no problem with thick hair (at least not for me). There was no tying, no hair pulling, no engine slowdown. Cuts quickly and cleanly. The manual does not give details about the oil level gauge. It just says it will light up after 2 hours of use. I'll have to experiment to see if they mean 2 hours of continuous use or every 2 full hours. Because this is timed, it is not an actual "alert" of a potentially dangerous situation, such as an accident. Excessive friction or blade sticking, which can be detected by a drop in engine speed - and the unit can be designed to shut down on such an event. Instead, this oil "alert" is just a maintenance reminder. My set included a scratch card bonus card, which meant a $6 discount with a Revain gift card, bringing my value down to $16.99! I would be happy with this model for the $22.99 I originally paid for it. This is a multifunctional and powerful hair clipper at such a low price; Excellent value for money and quality. The discount is the icing on the cake! Disclaimer: I'm not saying everyone gets a card in their pack or that every card results in a discount - bonuses can be random as far as I know.
