We decided to go with the more affordable and convenient alternative of purchasing active baby diapers for daily use. It was convenient for me that the diapers were thin but still absorbed liquid well, thus there was no leaking of stool. They moved closer to the infant, and there were no red marks left behind. There is a rustle, but what does that even mean? The child is unaffected by it in any way. Velcro is awesome since it is secure and does not loosen easily. But I won't be able to answer your question concerning long-term use because I didn't test it out in the evening. Very appropriate for use during the day. #honestlyOpampers
