First check the size of the hole in the aquarium.
The sensor below lacks resolution making my tank look 1/4 full when it's about 1/8 full and emptying very steeply. Also pay special attention to the size of the tank. hole in the fuel tank. The hole in mine was too small for this float to fit through. I had to file the float down significantly, about 1 1/2mm, to get it to fit.
