Brilliant design! I searched the internet for half a day trying to figure out how to rotate "overhead" to make an instructional video for You Tube and I did I've carefully reviewed all the different options I've found and I'm VERY HAPPY I made the choice, thanks to some very helpful owners who answered my questions here on Revain! Your camera (in my In this case I have a small, lightweight, handheld camcorder ) and the part you see on the bottom right is where you mount it on the tripod. You don't have to use anything other than your camera and tripod. This "arm" can be fully extended (arms can move up and down. down. empty) so I'd definitely recommend a sturdy tripod if you need to use it like that. This thing should win a design award. Love it so se Mr! Totally worth the money, well built, solid construction. Very happy to be able to buy this from Revain. There aren't many professional camera shops these days where you can look at these items and speak to salespeople who are really knowledgeable and offer great advice so I just wanted to say thank you again to the Revain owners for answering my questions!
