I am very disappointed in this poncho blanket. While well made and very comfortable, it is not as advertised. I am a boy. Slightly bigger guy. However, on average, I'm on the shorter side of the American male size scale. This blanket does not fully cover my back as the woman in the picture is slightly taller than me. It is very confusing. let me explain. When I dress it up as directed, the front falls below the knees and ends a few inches above the ankles. The bag is exactly where you would expect it to be. Around the bottom center. However, the back of the blanket doesn't even reach my butt, if you know what I mean. Now if I pull up the blanket and snap it around my neck with the first (or second?) magnetic button, I get a little more protection. Just around or a little behind. Unfortunately I lost the blanket in front and the pocket almost to my chest. It's ok but not what I was expecting as the listing sounds like it will cover your chest and back equally. Now that I'm on the taller side, as I mentioned earlier, I realize I may not have as full body coverage as thinner people. . However, with absolute accuracy one would assume that the front does not drop as far as in the picture. When I wear it "normal" the front ends at about the same point as the woman in the advertised image. Why doesn't the backend do the same? I don't know if the poncho blanket I received was made wrong in terms of neckline placement or if it's just like all the other semi wearable blankets I've had. visible. I deliberately chose this one because it was advertised as covering the front and back equally. I didn't want another sunggy-like wearable blanket that's only really useful while sitting or lying down. Not to be entirely negative, I'll say it's very well done so far. The magnetic buttons are well sewn in and hold quite firmly. You can take some tugs without getting loose. The open armrest area gives you freedom of movement while still providing some protection. The material is very soft. The pocket, while not nearly at chest level, is comfortable but could be a bit wider. The sides can be bent slightly so nothing falls out. There is quality. So why the 1 star rating? Because expectations (based on photos, description and reviews) and reality are very different. Given what I said about my height and weight, I was expecting the duvet to not hang as low on either side as advertised. I am clearly aware of how things fit my body type. What I didn't expect was that the front would look and work exactly as described, and the back would only curl my back end slightly when hanging there. The mismatch between front and rear is frankly absurd and ultimately disappointing. That means I don't use it as often as I intended. It also means I may have to invest in a similar duvet at a much higher price.
