I thought it was a tablet that you write on and the image appears on the screen, but there is no screen on this "tablet". It's actually more of a graphics mousepad. You use the stylus to select and draw on the computer screen, not on the device itself. So since it needs to be used on a computer, you need to download and install drivers and other things. And you must have a graphics program (e.g. Windows Paint) that allows you to use such a device to create or edit graphics. So it is not a "plug and play" item. But if you're good with computers and like working with graphics, it works well and isn't very expensive.
