Review on Bluetooth Wireless Canceling Microphone Headphones by John Fenton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Affordable price, weak microphone

These headphones are affordable and ideal for those who wear glasses. They are comfortable enough on my large head to wear for hours. The sound quality isn't bad (I'm not a music lover but I like some frequency ranges and these have reasonable bass and high frequencies). At low volume, a constant quiet noise - but unexpected for me. I think if I like listening to classical music it would be annoying. I haven't really checked the bluetooth range - mostly I'm at the computer I'm connected to. I will say that when I move to another floor in my tiny house, the connection drops - not too surprising or disappointing. One weird thing is, if Bluetooth is disabled on the audio source (let's say you leave your computer to sleep for a few seconds), they don't want to reconnect when it comes back. You must hold down the button to reconnect. A little irritation. My biggest complaint about this is the sensitivity of the microphone. I bought them for listening to music and for business meetings. It turns out people can barely hear me and I have to yell a bit on calls for people to hear me. Compared to other headset mics I have (or even my laptop's internal mic), this headset's mic is way too quiet (even with the input volume turned up on my computer). new, no problem. If I keep using them despite the mic issue, I might just need to put some glue in there. never mind Note that any "noise cancellation" claims are most likely referring to the microphone - they do NOT have active noise cancellation for the audio output (I didn't think they did, but it seems worth clarifying if anyone is confused is).

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
