These little hour meters will keep your generators running for years. Great for base models that do not have information displays that may include a built in hour meter. Track your engine runtime so you know when to change your oil and perform other engine maintenance tasks. Very easy to install, wrap one end of the wire around the spark plug wire 5 times, use the included small zip tie to secure the wire to the wire to keep it from falling off. Feed the wire through the body of the generator, insert the other end of the wire into the meter slot and secure with 2 screws, or you can also use strong velcro like I did. Voila. ready!
