Nice comfortable armchair for at home at the computer desk. I have to sit at home 2-4 hours a day after work to get things done. For such purposes, this chair will do. The cracking didn't get louder. The seat cushions are still holding up well. The only other disadvantage is that the palm rest is not padded and has a very hard surface. Therefore, your elbows may start to hurt if you use it for 3-4 hours at a time.
