I was concerned about vibration and noise, but it's very quiet, no vibration at all. We have used some included pieces of foam to reduce or eliminate vibration for this purpose. I live in an apartment so I checked with the person downstairs and they didn't even know my AC was working. A bedroom is difficult to cool due to the layout of the apartment so I use a box fan to get the cold air out and it works great. Everything cools down quickly if I turned it off when leaving. Good product, no complaints.
