I like the square bottom of this stand versus other V-shaped stands. I believe this is a metal that is very smooth to the touch and ascetically pleasing to the eye. I bought this stand hoping to turn my 27 inch monitor into a portrait. Turns out I don't really like the setting (for those contemplating a portrait mode setting, use something like 22/24"; don't use TN either as your already poor vertical viewing angle gets a lot worse, when you switch to horizontal portrait angles), but this stand barely accommodates a 27-inch portrait. Once it's tilted, it's also almost impossible to turn it back to landscape without first disassembling it. Setup was easy. The height adjustment on this stand is not a slider like Dell monitors, but a hook. still very efficient and reliable, this thing stands like a rock in the surf. The kit includes various mounting screws; mine works with the little ones and now I have to be careful not to lose them in storage. I'm sure it will mostly match your monitors or TVs; Otherwise, you will get an awkward excuse from the instructions. Overall this is a solid stand; If I had more money I would upgrade my other monitor to this stand. I think $30 is the norm for single monitor stands then this would be a great buy. Now that I think about it, the Vesa mount might better suit my needs, but this stand might help as well.
