Bought two of these shelves. The first lasted several years, the second only a few months. Ever since I assembled it, the stand shakes no matter what I do. At first I thought I might have put all my bags to one side, but after making sure the weight was evenly distributed it still tilted to the right and fell over. I travel a lot for work and this year has been very busy. After not being able to use it, I was finally able to take it apart a few weeks ago to see what was wrong with it. I thought maybe I assembled it wrong (although it's really easy to assemble). Well, it turned out to be a broken part of a furniture screw. It broke, and therefore of course the stand was never solid. I have contacted customer service (e-Home Service) to see if they have any suggestions or if they can contact the manufacturer to see if I can purchase the screw. Well, they wanted me to pay $25 for the screw, shipping included. Let's see. The shelf was $41 and they expected me to pay $25 to replace a broken furniture screw. I've been to Home Depot, Lowes, and local hardware stores and nobody carries a screw that long. So I have to throw the bars away. What a waste of money and resources. I will definitely never buy anything from e-Home Service again.
