I always have doubts when ordering furniture online, products often do not match what is presented in the ad, but I can happily say I was very wrong this time, these bar stools match theirs description and my expectations. We recently moved into an apartment with a kitchen island and decided to make it our dining table as well as everything is new here (new unit), everything is in a modern style, cabinets, appliances, a counter so we wanted us part with the classic wooden chairs and get some metal and leather. Gathering was easy. We used the included Allen key to screw in the four bolts that attach the support mast that runs from the base (which goes straight into the hole) to the seat and that's it. Literally 2 minutes per chair. The lift works like a charm and adjusts its height as expected. The base is all metal, unlike some that have metal parts but have plastic cases (and what you see in the photos aren't scratches, they're cat hair). and maybe some smudge marks that we made the day before and didn't notice the marks until I uploaded the pictures) and everything arrived well packaged so the item reached us in perfect condition. You have to develop some seating technique when you sit in such a high chair with such a narrow backrest without armrests, but when you do that, it's comfortable to sit for hours, we've already done it, and it's more comfortable than expected, you have to use it They have a footrest and lean on the counter, but they come in handy once you get the hang of it. Granted it's not real leather, it's polyurethane (PU), and I can't comment on durability, but these are a couple of cheap chairs that would last a couple of years (and I mean two) without peeling, even if you pay for them. Overall we are happy with this purchase and will most likely order another pair on the sides of the island for the four of us to sit!
