Review on CargoPlanning by Tutcht Cobb

This software simplifies and automates our daily operations. It has been instrumental since we started at this level of organization of transportation planning and coordination. The customization option is essential, but also very easy (you don’t need any expert). Easy integration into internal ERP systems like Sage X3. We have no complaints so far. Only minor suggestion would be adding more options regarding scheduling slots. As I said above, we solved many problems before. There was an absence of proper transport information. Tracking vehicles from one port to another was difficult. Now we easily track vehicles along their routes as well as the status of those vehicles throughout different hubs and warehouses. The user interface is very simple but effective if you want just get some basic information about cargo planning like available slots at different locations within one city. It's not so easy when you need more detailed info than what this software provides (like capacity vs number of trucks required). We use CP mainly because our freight forwarder wants us to have everything organized under their control which we don't mind since most things here already work fine without them being involved!
