The only reason I give it 4 stars for durability is that the midsection flexes a bit at 20-30 pounds. To be honest I don't use it for a picnic. tables. I use it as a computer desk. I have a dual monitor clip stand that attaches (with a screw clip) to the table slightly off-center (because of the hinge in the middle of the table). One more thing I would like to add as a word of warning to everyone. Who buys these tables: When extending the legs, make sure that the key lock is 100% centered and engaged! I wasn't that careful and the lock of one leg slipped out (at the above weight) and I had to lift the table with my shoulder while lowering my leg with one hand and groping for the buttonhole with the other hand up to the lock button snapped. came on the spot.
