While it's a good panel with good contrast, deep blacks, and fast response times, it has a few flaws big enough to make me return: 1. The Vesa mount works, but it's horribly constructed. The manual doesn't even mention its existence. They were simply given some pieces of metal and mysterious screws. It took me a while to figure out how it was supposed to work and what screws to use, but then we positioned the holes correctly because it's not a single mount; The two pieces of metal are completely independent and in my case were too far apart. I ended up attaching the top of the monitor arm to the two metal pieces, allowing it to dangle from the side and keeping the metal pieces the right distance apart. This allowed me to attach one side. I then had to move the monitor arm to the other side so I could do the opposite side. It wasn't perfectly aligned at the time, but it was close enough for me to squeeze the clips together and attach the monitor mount. No problems after that, but I hope I don't ever have to shoot, it's taking orders of magnitude longer than it should. 2. This monitor is too bright at 0% brightness. Why doesn't it go lower like other monitors? It has excellent brightness for daytime use and is very consistent across the screen.3. White point and color calibration were far from standard. However, I was able to make it look good with some fiddling with the color controls.4. It's really easy. Lights up for a long time. The OSD looks like it's from the 90s. There is no USB hub. If you can ignore those things, this is a good monitor. Update: After living with it for many months, I have come to appreciate this monitor more and more. I would buy again and would recommend if you agree with the small flaws above.
