First off I have to say this is a great brew bottle. Actually one of the best I've tried. But unfortunately not the best. There are a few downsides. I started my Live Infinite experience with a broken product. I opened the box and a piece of thread on the top of the brewer stem was broken. I don't blame the company for that. Production problems arise. I will give Live Infinitely kudos for their customer service. I sent them a photo of how it got to me and they sent me a new IV stick very quickly. When I was able to use my bottle I was almost completely satisfied. The bottle is very large and fits well in my car cup holder, in the bottle pocket of my EDC bag and even in the bottle holder on my bike. The pages have a nice grip. The slits in the brewer's stem are narrow enough to prevent particles and seeds from escaping easily. So far good design. It looks sturdy but I would be concerned if it fell. Take good care of it and I'm sure it will last a long time. The lid also has a great design. I like the spring button on the lid and it closes very securely. The small metal loop for fastening is a nice touch. However, once the cap is open, it's difficult to keep it open when you lift the bottle all the way down to drink. So why would you lift the bottle that high to drink in the first place? Who does it? Well, this is where the biggest mistake comes in. Drinking from a bottle is a wonderful experience 95% of the time. However, if you only have about 1 ounce of water left, we have a problem. You see, the infusor shaft is screwed into a plastic protector that fits into the top of the bottle. This piece of plastic has holes at the top to allow water to enter your mouth. The problem is that the sides of this piece are solid and protrude about an inch into the bottle. If you have very little water left when you tip the bottle up, that water will simply pool around the perimeter and not be able to get into the holes on the top of the plastic protector. All it takes are a few thin slits on the edges of this shelter to let all the water through. If I had the right tool I would do it myself. I'm a bit surprised that this oversight made it through product testing. If Live Infinite could fix that, this bottle would be perfect. Check out my uploaded video to see it in action.
