I wanted to hang an old Panasonic TH-50PZ850U on my office wall. I looked at different mounts. The Sanus model I bought from a member store (you know which one) looked promising and worked well for my Vizio LCD TV, but it didn't look like a strong enough candidate for my plasma TV. The other recommended brand I bought from Revain was fairly sturdy, but the Panny's VESA mounting pattern was too wide to fit on the wall mount itself. I looked around and then found this. It had a wall mount wide enough to fit the extra-wide Panny VESA template and was sized to easily support the weight. The bracket holds the TV very well and was relatively easy to assemble. Just be careful with the brackets that actually fit the TV. If you swap left and right you will have a hard time fixing the tilt tension. It was very heavy to hang the TV on the wall (over 95 pounds) and I don't feel like removing it and swapping brackets. Anyhow, there are many ways to get the right tilt, rotation, and orientation for a full-pivoting mount. Recommended for all old heavy plasma TVs.
