Review on MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 235/45 R17 97Y summer by Wiktor Wiktor ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am one hundred percent satisfied with the purchase, I recommend this product to everyone.

I think the pricing is reasonable for what I got, a well-balanced tire. 15 seasonal tkm for an Audi A4 allroad with R18 245/45 tires. Sufficiently strong sidewall, Hong Kong, Hong Kong, and Hong Kong regions, the roads there are so-so, pits and potholes, good strikes, the wheels functioned with a bang, no hernias were displaced, and the balance was not disrupted, in part because of the 245/45 profile, but as an added bonus in favor of Michelin. I'll add that one more hernia was discovered over the previous summer at Pirelli, and seven more appeared during the previous winter at Nokian Hakkapelita. The tire has a supple construction and performed admirably on both dry and wet roads. I found the grip satisfying, the wheel easy to spin, the vehicle responded as expected, and I have every expectation that I will be able to drive and maneuver it with ease at speeds much in excess of the norm. I appreciated how little of a change there was between driving on a dry and a wet surface. The rolls, in particular, make it difficult to push past the limit, and despite my best efforts, I never got the sensation that the rubber was deviating from its direction. On a decent road, it maintains great performance between 200 and 220 miles per hour. Water ruts and puddles provide a little resistance on the steering wheel, but do not significantly alter the trajectory. It rides confidently up to 90–100 km/h on water. When traveling faster than 100 km/h, the rut and puddles become more obvious, especially if you hit with one wheel only, necessitating a slight reduction in steering input. You can drive with confidence at speeds of 130-140 km/h on a wet road with tiny puddles along the roadway. You can't defy the rules of nature, thus the tire will float on water, but no miracles are promised. The layout of the track is normal; there is a tiny resistance on the steering wheel when entering the rut, and the car floats a little as it travels around the track, but this is barely perceptible. Stop with ease in both dry and wet conditions. The tire is quiet, but it gets noisy when the temperature dips below 10 degrees, especially during the first few kilometers of a drive before it heats up. It seems to hold up well in terms of wear for a tire that gets about 15,000 miles per season.

Pros
  • Strong, sturdy, and no hernias have been found in this group. The handling is excellent on both dry and wet pavement. Moderate resistance to hydroplaning Calm and gentle Doesn't seem to care much about the sound, however it could change with the perspective.
Cons
  • I didn't even feel the 15 tons that were on me.
