This duvet is exactly as described. I figured it wouldn't be too big so I ordered a king bed for the queen bed in the guest room. And of course it fits in my king-size bed in the master bedroom. Prewashed, 100% cotton with mixed filling. So I believe it shouldn't shrink if I wash it in cold water and at low temperature as instructed in the instructions. It feels nice and is very light - exactly what I was looking for in a summer blanket. A crease is visible where it was folded in the packaging. But I think he'll fall out when he's on the bed. A light iron may be required after washing depending on how you like how it will look. It comes with 2 matching pads. The cape is quilted at the front and made of fine cotton at the back.
