Over the years I have found that I have had problems with toothpastes that contain ingredients that cause throat irritation. I woke up with a slight sore throat and mucus in my throat and couldn't believe it for a while. I finally found out that this was the toothpaste I was using and tried many types and brands to find one that worked properly without irritating me. My dentist told me that I have small cavities, probably because I haven't used anti-caries pastes, but almost all of them made my throat worse. I have used this brand of mouthwash and liked it so thought I would give this gel a try. I had my fingers crossed and hoped it wouldn't cause me any problems and so far it hasn't happened. I've been using it long enough to know I'll stick with it. I have tartar problems and it's a double plus that he takes care of any dental problems I can offer him. Plus, it tastes pretty good compared to anti-tartar mouthwash.
