Technological marvel

This shower head does amazing tricks. It uses the same 2.5 GPM flow rate as most shower heads, giving you the illusion that you're getting twice as much, even using the exact same amount of water. It does this by aerating the water before it is expelled from the shower head. This is an amazing effect. The drops are large, luxurious and comfortable, yet flow with enough energy to easily wash the soap from hair, body and washcloth. Also, the head itself is quite large, having about twice the number of heads as my previous 2.5 GPM shower head. That means it has a wider spray pattern with better coverage, and I really like that. Our previous shower head sprayed the water with more force, which was to be expected given the few nozzles. However, the coverage wasn't that wide and my wife felt like it stung a bit at times. YMMV, but it really looks like a Goldilocks showerhead to me. Without removing the water saving features, you still get high volume, reasonable flow, and excellent coverage. I notice that some reviewers have indicated that they need to warm up the water with this showerhead. I haven't had this problem. In any case, the opposite is the case. This may be because our shower is closed so the air entering the shower head is warmer than in a large room where only the shower curtain is used. In any case, I don't think many people will be disappointed with the performance of this shower head. It's not a 5-6 GPM fountain like you might get from a large showerhead with the water-saving feature removed. But it won't drain your hot water quickly either, and will cost you a mint to use. For what it is I don't think you will find better. This is a 2.5 GPM shower head designed for luxurious and eco-friendly showering. He does this surprisingly well. Highly recommended.
