Over the last 5 years I have had/used many inexpensive deli style crockery containers like this one. The lids on it are incredibly thin and flimsy. also for such a container. I've never come across this, especially when it's not meant to be used once, but to be used more than once. When I opened the box (it was well packed!) and looked around, I didn't check the lids, thinking they were the same as any other container I've had. I put them in the closet. When I went to get a container and lid 2 days later (I always wash them before first use) I realized how bad the lids are. I regret not checking when I first opened the package. So yes. I would stay away from them because you can get better quality containers/lids for the same price. I don't think they will be airtight or reliable/durable, they don't look like they will have a good seal. And another question is how long the lid will last due to the fragility in general.
