Review on Tw7C03100 Weekender Stripe Nylon Watch by Timex by Donald Waller

I have had this watch and THIS bracelet for a month now. I bought a plain black strap to replace the horrible checkered strap the watch originally had. Not sure if the strap is the same as the one that came with the watch but the price, color and fit was perfect! (I don't recall the weekender diff belt having this issue.) The double D ring on the belt is perfect as I put the extra belt length back into the outer ring. Nice and tidy. The ONLY reason I gave it 3 stars is because I take a lighter/flame to the band at least twice a week -OR when I just can't take it anymore - to ignite the nylon bundles that are stuck in unused holes develop on the watch strap. (Yes, I press on burnt material while it's still warm.) I normally wear a watch 24/7, but this strap doesn't allow me to. The resulting bundles rub against everything. I've tried to minimize this "rubbing" on objects by reversing the direction of the watch strap to change the direction of the clasp, but to no avail. That might be a small thing for some, but not for me. I hope that one day I won't have to sing in a band anymore.
