I don't think it's made of the material most people think of when they think of a sweatshirt. This material does not stretch, is not loose or thick. The material, especially at the seams, looks very hard and dense. The bags are fake too. I bought size 3 for my medium height 17 year old daughter. She was so small she couldn't wear it with anything else. So I sent it back and got a great one. The large size allows you to wear a t-shirt but nothing else underneath. I hope to send it again for a very large one. On the plus side, the product looks exactly as pictured.
