I tend to overestimate my purchases so I checked a lot of coasters before buying this one. I wanted my LG Gram to hold up the way I wanted it (to line up with the top of my larger desktop monitor), hold it SECURELY, and allow me to put things underneath. This one ticked all the boxes. It started moving when I put my laptop back on it so I pulled out the tool that came with it and tightened both hinge bolts and now it's super stable. It also has 4 rubber dots where my laptop sits AND rubber strips where it rests on the front AND 4 rubber dots on the bottom of the stand. Nothing slips or scratches. There are also plenty of vents on the bottom to keep the laptop cool. What more could I ask for? Oh, it folds up for portability too! Win, win!
