I installed them on a 2015 Dodge Charger. I wanted brighter headlights for night shift work. I had to buy an additional decoder. After everything was installed, the headlights worked perfectly and got brighter than normal. About 2 weeks later I was driving on a dark road with no street lights until sunrise. While driving, the headlights (both) went out for about 10 seconds. So 10 seconds driving at 70 km/h on a dark road and at night. Not sure. I read reviews that others who needed separate decoders had the same problem. It only happened once, which is too much for me. If separate decoders are required for specific models, I think the manufacturer should have a separate model for those vehicles. I won't experiment with different decoders until one works. Headlights are necessary for night driving, and without them a real accident can happen. I send them back with a separate decoder.
